The Aeroquip EC881 Dynamax is a two-wire braided hydraulic hose from Danfoss, rated to one million impulse cycles — five times the 200,000-cycle requirement of a standard EN 857 2SC hose. In many systems it replaces four-wire spiral hose, giving comparable pressure capability in a lighter, far more flexible assembly.
This size
- Bore: 12,7 mm (0.50 in)
- Nominal outside diameter: 17,3 mm (0.68 in)
- Maximum working pressure: 360 bar (5,220 psi)
- Minimum burst pressure: 1440 bar (20,880 psi)
- Minimum bend radius: 60 mm (2.36 in)
- Weight: 0,58 kg/m (0.39 lbs/ft)
Construction
Dura-Pulse™ patented inner tube, two-wire braid reinforcement and a Dura-Tuff™ premium abrasion cover offering eight times the abrasion resistance of a standard cover. Abrasion is a leading cause of hose failure, so that cover is doing real work in mobile and mining applications.
Ratings and approvals
Exceeds SAE 100R16, SAE 100R19, EN 857 2SC and ISO 18752. Agency approvals: ABS, DNV and MSHA. Operating temperature −46°C to +126°C on petroleum-based fluids, −46°C to +70°C on water-based hydraulic fluids, and 0°C to +70°C on water. Qualified fittings: 1A series.
Typical applications
Compact construction equipment, agricultural machinery, mining, oil and gas, forestry and logging, waste and refuse vehicles, and aerial lifts.
